Understory is an art gallery in Cleveland, Ohio. Their exhibition explored athletics as a microcosm of society where power, performance, and cultural narratives collide. The design team developed the overall visual direction, and I was tasked with creating the exhibition catalog and artist cards, drawing inspiration from vintage playing cards.
